So, I decided to cook a gourmet pasta in the micro car camper without making any mess. The pasta was fairly complicated with lots of ingredients. It turned out really well. The key to making a good food in your car using only a camping gas is to have the proper pot. You don't need millions of items that only cause mess rather than helping. I think the best way to figure out how to do it, is watching this video.

My last proper car camping trip was a year ago today. It got so cold inside at night my butane canister froze and I couldn't use the heater!
Last time I was out in June in Scotland it poured down with rain from the moment i crossed the border. I got soaked getting from the driver seat to back! Ended up ordering a delivery pizza..lol:) the delivery guy found it highly amusing..but just needed a few beers and an easy hot meal as i was thoroughly fed up! Happy days 👍🍕
