Chief KIZELA: UPND succeeds where others failed

Senior Chief KIZELA of Mufumbwe District says the UPND government has achieved what previous governments failed by reopening Kalengwa mine.

The traditional leader has commended the government for ending the legal battles that have been impeding operations at Kalengwa Mine.

Speaking when he met with President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA in Mufumbwe, the Traditional leader said the government has achieved a feat that proves its commitment to developing the mining sector.

And President HICHILEMA said he is committed to ensuring that legal issues in the mining sector are resolved quickly to avoid closure of mines.

The President said the mining sector can only contribute to economic development if mines are operational.
