The Footballer Who Sacrificed His Career For Crime
Nile Ranger was once England’s most promising wonderkid but his career washed down the drain when he became one of England’s most reoffending criminals. At the age of 19, he was a star for one of the Premier League’s biggest teams but years later he found himself playing in the 8th tier of football.

Unfortunately some parts of the video are so horrific they had to be cut out, I hope you understand ❤️

misbehaves > gets in trouble > apologies > gets rewarded > wonders why he's still a menace

This is why a father figure is so important in a kids life

IF everyone get as many chances in life as this guy did, no one will ever fail at anything

By the amount of chances they gave him, this guy could’ve been the best player ever. Such a shame he’d rather steal a £700 then use his talents to become a multimillionaire 😔

As a Newcastle fan myself, most of us expected him to become a major part of the first team, but his temperament and his poor behaviour obviously meant that didn’t happen…
He was on True Geordie’s podcast and he admitted the Newcastle night-life was a huge temptation for him!

Nile Ranger and Ravel Morrison. Two players that couldve been world beaters but their behaviour was just bollocks.

Given tons of opportunities, money and support yet still behaved the way he did. What an awful human being

Rewarding bad behaviour is something I am dead against. It upsets pupils who work hard and behave well to see these idiots being given every opportunity that they are being denied. It is soul destroying.

I started supporting Newcastle Utd in around 2009 so obviously I saw his breakout season in the flesh and honestly when he first broke onto the scene he looked like one of those players who would make it uno. Could imagine him leaving us and winning league titles with Chelsea. He was still flawed them but remember this was the era of Ballotelli, Adebayo, Ben Arfa, Taarabat etc so that didn't really seem to matter. My Dad often compares him to Saka saying that if Nile Ranger had that household that he could thrive in he could have reached similar heights. It is a shame however he seems, with age, to have matured and is doing good for himself so i wish him all the best. Players like him are why I fell in love with football

The hilarious thing is the amount of chances Newcastle gave him. It was insane.

This story stressed me out from start to finish. Some friends he had.

He needed that father figure in his life and maybe things would've been different. Enjoyed the video as well 👏

Can’t remember the year but I was randomly at the Wireless Festival one year; largely forgettable, but for one moment where I saw a group of like 20 dudes chasing after one guy in order to do harm to him… the person they were chasing… Nile Ranger. Crazy scenes.
