Pulling a vacuum with Micron meter TESTO 557s

Should have put a “T” on the discharge line for the micron gauge. A little too close to the pump for a good reading.

I do the same thing but it won't hold vacuum when I take pump off. I'm hoping it's my hoses and not the manifold

Why include the manifold in the vacuum just use hose straight to vacuum and t for micron gauge
