I've been bogged down in TPS reports lately and haven't coded anything in a while. I wanted to refresh my memory with a fun themed Christmas coding challenge. A couple fellow engineers recommended the Advent of Code 2021 challenge. In retrospect, I probably should've coded out the first few days BEFORE turning on the camera and filming my effort, but alas, here we are. Witness my struggle with this simple day 1 puzzle!
