Brian Lara is the excellence of execution and he was the best there was during his time and the best there is and the best there ever will be. He had the worst tail for company with only Courtney Walsh at his disposal and yet he shepherded that tail and at the same time led West indies to victory against Australia. while Tendulkar failed in the Chennai test even though with personal triumph over his team

The reason why Brian is ahead of his contemporaries was because he was a genius. You can't coach a kid about all those movements he made at the pitch and that all came naturally to him. It was all feel besides how do you tell a kid about how to score 501 400 375 277 and so on and so forth. He is the best ever for a reason and that reason was his flair and ability nobody comes close to Lara.

I tell you what from Ravi Shastri to Rahul dravid and sangakaara Jason gellispie Wasim Akram Waqar Younis Mushtaq Ahmed Inzamam mark Nicolas Glenn magracth and muralitharan. Shoaib Akhtar was not a great bowler but he was a good bowler and had he bowled to Lara he would have retired early besides Akhtar has a mind turn towards pleasing indians.

Bumrah defended 11 runs against McCullum and finch. Shaheen can't able to defend in a super over against Zimbabwe. Still, both are good with new ball but bumrah is way ahead with old bowl. Shaheen leaks too many runs in odi and in T20s.

SACHIN scores 65 till 98/1 in 1996SEMIS and after his dismissal at 98/2, it downslides in minutes to 120/8... such amazingly tanzania level team strength.... 🤯
Still SACHIN performs consistently well (except 2 odd matches) in each of 1996 2003 2011 !!! And by the way, SACHIN only played ODI knockouts whereas post 2007 players like Kohli etc. play 2 more format knockouts now.

All uninformed fans who criticize him baselessly, ask yourself :
How would you judge if kohli had performed exactly the same in place of SACHIN ??? ☺️

it shows that he had quite a game on him and was a genius. it will always be Lara for me he was more asthetically beautiful to the naked eye that high back lift coming to meet the ball was a sight to behold. he was a genius. that's rubbish Shoaib Akhtar. Lara was highly entataining and more gifted. Akhtar never bowled to Lara except for a few minutes. how can he pass a judgement. ask wasim and Waqar mc gracth gellispie and murali they will tell you who was more gifted. it will always be Lara
