Video of Russian SU-33 Fighter Falling Into the Sea

Archival footage of Russian SU-33 carrier-based fighter falling into the water due to a break in the arresting system on the Admiral Kuznetsov on December 3, 2016.

Following a series of similar incidents, in February 2017, the Kuznetsov was returned to Severomorsk, where it underwent lengthy repairs and where it still emains.

The first combat cruise of the only aircraft carrier of the Russian Navy was its last.
