Now in its third consecutive year, our award-winning community partnership programme with UK schools concludes with a special award presentation on Wednesday 20 July at 1400 BST.

The event celebrates the creativity and collaboration of talented pupils aged 6 to 14 from schools across in the UK. Launched during British Science Week back in March, Mission: Sustainability 2022 saw participating schools tackle three different challenges themed around 'building the smart cities of the future'.

As part of their science lessons, pupils completed projects themed around e-mobility, smart street lighting and eco-friendly buildings, drawing on expertise shared by Enzen. Submissions were judged by Enzen knowledge practitioners and the first, second, third and highly commended places in each category will be announced on Wednesday.

Hosted by Louise Carter, Head of People and Culture in the UK, the 25-minute online ceremony will also feature some of teachers and pupils involved to learn how Mission: Sustainability has inspired them to play their part in leaving a cleaner, healthier planet for future generations.

Since its inception in 2020, the programme has received industry plaudits for its innovative approach to community partnership, winning the Social Impact category at the 2022 Energy Innovation Awards in the UK, the Sustainability category at the 2022 Education Awards in the UK and being named a CSR finalist at the 2021 S&P Global Platts Global Energy Awards in New York.

Don't forget to join us on Wednesday and celebrate the change agents of the future!
