I love the difference between Haruko's entrance in progressive and alternative. In progressive her reveal is a big thing and in alternative she just casually walks in.

I was watching the scene and I saw how Haruko closed the sliding door after she entered. Its a small thing but I wonder if the FLCL classic Haruko would have closed the door. The simple act of closing the door seems like a small sign of maturity. So maybe this really is future post progressive Haruko.

okay, but the reaction of that middle aged guy’s face when he saw Haruko. That makes me go theorizing. Think about it, he could be a character from the original Fooly Cooly. Maybe Naota? Maybe that one friend of naota that has glasses? Or maybe he was just having that reaction due to the ramen.
