I absolutely love Restless Heart's rendition of this classic from Glen Campbell. They certainly did it justice! They are my favorite country group fun the 1980's. They've still got it!

I am blessed with a wife that asked me if I wanted to go see Glen on his farewell tour. It was the best concert that I have ever seen. Big biker men were crying right next to me. There were no shame.

I was born/raised just south of Wichita and joined the military at 18 yrs n did 21 yrs as a medic.. This song will always be special to me. I've had the privilege of being stationed or lived in all four corners of our beautiful country.

If someone had told me that ANYone could perform this song as perfectly - and memorably - as Glen Campbell, I'd have said UH-UHHHH - that's Glen's song, and NO one could do it as well. But you know what? Hearing Restless Heart do it has made me change my mind about that. Who would ever have guessed that a piano (played by SUCH an artist!) could do that super-important bass-guitar part so movingly?!? And Larry Stewart's lead is simply perfect in every possible way - and the rest of the band is the perfect support and rounds it all out to perfection. Good grief - look at how many times I said "perfect!" Can you tell I REALLY like this rendition??? THANK YOU, RESTLESS HEART, FOR THIS AND EVERYTHING ELSE YOU'VE EVER SUNG TOGETHER - WE STILL LOVE YOU!
