How to report crash using Google Maps

Google Maps has received two new reporting features - crash reporting and speed trap. The first one lets users report a crash that they have spotted on their way to inform fellow drivers and commuters. Likewise, the second one will show that there is a speed camera and others will get an audio warning suggesting the same.

There's no crash button on my Google map screen.

I don't see how to remove crash reporting. It uses your exact location to mark as the incident BUT if you have to drive to a safe place to use your phone, it could be miles away.
Bad they don't give directions or a way to move a pointer to the exact spot.

This person was driving too fast on the on ramp curve he blew the turn and went head first into a tree exploding all the air bags and the fire and ambulance were on the scene.
Looked like it "was" a new Nissan or Mazda sports car.
Entire engine compartment was in the tree and the interior was completely white with air bags that released in the front and back of the vehicle.

Google seems to remove this when driving which is ironic. You want to report things when you see them as you drive. But I do indeed they probably want to avoid driver distractions. Good video thank you.

Ridiculous that you can only report while using the navigation feature. I don't need directions going to work and I don't want to hear the auditory cues. Waze has it figured out.

Pretty stupid that you have to be navigating to a location to access that icon and that you can't move it to a specific location.
