To close off for the summer, I decided to do one more episode review but wasn’t expecting it to be none other than Thomas & The Stinky Cheese! It had been quite a long time since I’ve seen this episode and for very good reason. But just how bad is this episode! Watch and find out! Enjoy! :)

Cheese is my all time favourite food! And as a cheese lover, I can say that you’re right. Cheese is mostly hard, when it’s melted it’s soft. Cheese is never liquid! But the episode itself isn’t great. I agree with you. I guess you can say i’m Wallace. If I had a dog I would’ve named him Grommit. I hope you get what I mean

Ahh yes this episode was so gross with the cheese 🤮 and it’s not that good. I don’t like how Diesel, Arry and Bert are portrayed here in the HiT era as they are being childish bullies to Thomas, and the writing is so out of place. All in all a great review Tay and I agree to your thoughts!

Apparently all the stinky cheese is just fondue stuffed into crates. Do these big brains even know how to package and ship food like normal people? If there's one positive I have about this episode, the new face masks Thomas, Diesel and Aary had were kinda funny.

The diesel vs steam trope is tiring to see. Despite that, I thought Thomas and the Stinky Cheese is good. Also, you bring up a valid point Tay. It's strange how liquid the cheese is, as it looks more like spray cheese instead of cheese blocks. I rank this episode a 7/10. This grade could change in the future, though.

If Scrambled Eggs was directly adapted for the TVS, then I think it would've been a lot more funnier than what we've gotten. Even in one Mr. Arkwright segment, they used the term 'stinky cheese' once despite the engine drivers common room segments being good despite how bad the Nitrogen era was.

Also, aside from some episodes that only aired on TV and not on home media, would you be doing the same for some CGI episodes that didn't make it on DVD in the US as well, or not really?

As a someone from the Netherlands, known for their cheese, I could not tell you what type of cheese that is. It looks melted but even it is melted cheese it would be too liquidy. It has the same consistency as cheese spread but that's usually white soooo... throw away realism for a ''cool looking'' crash sequence

With 'Arry and Bert, it made sense since they were the ones who ruined Thomas' delivery. But I can't help but question why add in Diesel when he had nothing to do with ruining Thomas' delivery at all. I guess the "steamies good, all diesels bad" bias comes into mind now that I take your word for it.

I actually didn't mind the episode all that much... But I suppose Thomas was too much of a coward here. I also see your point about the cheese not being solid, not even looking like cheese! 😳 And I guess the ending doesn't make too much sense, even though Thomas is supposed to be the hero. 🤨 Not absolutely good, but I've seen much worse.
