I know this has been going on for a very long time, but I never really knew why, but the way you broke it down, now I get it. But I can’t imagine having to leave in a place where it’s just constant war. There may be breaks in between, but war always break out again. I also couldn’t imagine having to live life having to watch over my shoulder cause at any time a bomb or missile could go off at any given moment. I hope they could find a way to figure it out. You miss out alot of relevant history of how the land was conquered by many different empires from Romans, Egyptians and Arabs etc. Also during Ottoman rule they did not live peacefully, Jews and Christians were allowed to live in the region but were treated like second class citizens with harsh rules and had to pay a tax which is the same in all Muslim countries.
