BBC Team GB's Medal Moments from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics

Team GB had a successful Tokyo 2020 Olympics matching their medal total of the London 2012 Olympics of 65 medals. This makes the 2020 Tokyo games their second-most successful overseas Olympics after Rio 2016. They claimed 22 golds, 21 silvers and 22 bronze medals in Japan.

Jason Kenny successfully defended his keirin title to become the first Briton to win seven Olympic gold medals.

As a child we would watch the Olympics and I would ride my bike. I loved the Chariots of fire. Dad got me a red ten speed with a radio on the front I would ride and listen to the music after going to the movie. It was my very best bike I ever had. Tom has a white bike he wanted to be in a triathlon. He can swim very well he can bike also. I never was good at swimming but I loved to be at the pool my favorite pool is Saint Andrew’s. How exciting it must be for a child watching this to be able to dream about achieving greatness. Congratulations to everyone who won. I could never be a Olympic champion but watching the games every country has the joy of winning as they watch.
