Auctioned off at roughly $676. Thought I'd save everyone the trip to the bottom comments.

“Skill for time.” Something my father used to say. Thanks for sharing your craft, Kramer.

Hey Kramer, great videos, great instruction, great camera work. The bowyers knot is also called the timber hitch.

I missed the part where you talk about the arrow shelf width?

Great vids thanks!

The knot (7:37) is a "bowyer's knot". It has the identical form as a "timber hitch" (ABOK 195) but if you follow Ashley's naming scheme they're different knots since they have different uses.

Edit: The knots he mentions for bows/archery are loops/splices for the operation of the bow and there no mentions for of knots for tillering.

You might try Watco Danish Oil finish … wipe it on … let it stand for a while … wipe off the excess. Same process if you need to re-finish the bow. This was the only finish we used when I was working in the cabinet shop.

Beautiful bow, great video! I love watching you work. I was really anticipating the finish of this bow to see how the arrows would fly compared to the thicker bamboo backing build you did previously. I really liked the flat flight of the arrows making it really accurate from a distance. Any chance you could give a video on the different flight characteristics from your various builds? This summer I am going to duplicate your thick bamboo backed ipe bow. Thanks for the inspiration. Keep making videos!

16:04 - did you mean "where the gaps are **smaller**"?

The only downside to camcorders is that they dont auto focus. I just assume thats what your focus problem is.
Beyond that Im so glad I stumbled across your channel. You are reinspiring a hobby I had when I was a child and I would love to get back into it. Im still very much a novice at being a bowyer but thank you none the less.

Dude . . . Like everyone else, I absolutely love your channel especially how you explain exactly what you're doing as you're doing it and in a very succinct way. Most Bowyer YouTube channels either have way too long winded of explanations and make it confusing, or they say about 10 words in the whole video. Oh and just in case you guys were wondering this dude always emails you back answers all your questions and does so in a very timely fashion, the guys a real class act . . . But I have to comment on it, every song in all of your videos his hipster to the maximum. Can we get some punk or metal and one of your videos? Just once? You could make a Scythian style bow while playing the band Scythikon, or make him Mongolian style bow while listening to the Mongolian metal band The Hu. They even inculcate Mongolian throat singing into metal . . . Otherwise I'm pretty sure one of the guys from the Canadian punk band Propaghandhi practices archery

Hey great video. I can't find a glue up jig video. Maybe you could make a video specifically on how you made that and the amount of reflex deflex in it.
