If you click the gear icon, under the Subtitles/CC option, there's an auto translate feature that, while imperfect, does the job well enough here.

Super glad to see Dan branching out and using his Spanish skills on the channel.

I love the videos in English, and to be honest I would rather follow them that way... But I know many Spanish speakers that will benefit of them being accessible in their language. Thank you for the effort, Dan.

"Nah, estoy bein!" Sounds good even in Spanish, lol. I wonder if Dr. Dan is a polyglot? Spanish, English, Hebrew (?) Greek (?), Im guessing maybe pieces of other languages. Thats a pretty cool thing. I do kind of recall a video where he touched on languages he messes around with. Happy Sunday folks!

Pense que iva a ser una traduccion y me quede sorprendido del buen castellano de Dan. En castellano hay muy pocos hebraistas que hacen youtube.

Um... so while he's wrong etymologically, he's also edging closer to a really under-played part of the Garden of Eden story: most Christians will count the "first sin" as "disobeying God" which is a rhetorically neutral way of describing it (make anything non-specific enough and maybe people won't think about it). The fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil provided moral knowledge (as per Genesis 3:22, it allowed humans to know good and evil which they did not when they were originally created)... so the "first sin" was simply obtaining moral knowledge. This contradicts a _lot_ of apologetics (for example, the "moral argument for God's existence" posits objective morality, but if morality objectively exists then how can one be ignorant of it if one can observe the universe? or there's the begging the question argument that "everyone understands morality, because God wrote morality on our hearts", etc).

It's super weird for someone who is clearly motivated towards Christian edutainment to go anywhere near the idea that humans had to steal morality from God because he didn't want them to have it, because Christian edutainment is normally so wrapped up in apologetics because they kinda serve the same purpose - narrowing the dogmatic field.

Hey Dan love the videos! Would love to chat with you sometime. I would love to hear the parts of Christianity you affirm. Most of your content is correcting inaccuracies so I am always curious about what is left once the dogma is removed. Keep making the great content your friend in San Antonio Texas Ricky
