ΘΑΣΙΤΙΚΟΣ ΓΑΜΟΣ - THASSIAN WEDDING 2024

Αναπαράσταση του ΘΑΣΙΤΙΚΟΥ ΓΑΜΟΥ 2024, ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα πολιτιστικά δρώμενα του νησιού, στο Θεολόγο. Διοργανώνεται σχεδόν μισό αιώνα τώρα από τον Πολιτιστικό σύλλογο Θεολόγου-Ποτού "ΧΑΤΖΗΓΙΩΡΓΗΣ". Οι επισκέπτες είδανε από κοντά ολόκληρο το τελετουργικό των τελευταίων δύο ημερών του Θασίτικου γάμου, μιας διαδικασίας που κράταγε περίπου μια εβδομάδα όπως γινότανε παλιά και συμπυκνώθηκε σε μια ημέρα. Ακολούθησαν, τον γαμπρό στο σπίτι του κουμπάρου και όλοι μαζί κατευθύνθηκαν στο σπίτι της νύφης, τηρώντας τα ήθη και έθιμα του γάμου. Ένα σύνολο τελετουργικών πράξεων που ως δρώμενα έχουν τις ρίζες τους στην αρχαιότητα, συνοδευόμενων πάντα από μουσική και χορό σε όλο το χωριό.

Representation of the THASSIAN WEDDING 2024, one of the biggest cultural events of the island, in Theologos. It has been organized for almost half a century now by the Cultural Association of Theologos-Potos " HATZIGIORGIS". The visitors saw the whole ritual of the last two days of the Thasitic wedding, a process that lasted about a week as it used to be done in the past and was condensed into one day. They followed, the groom to the best man's house and together they all headed to the bride's house, observing the wedding customs and traditions. A set of ritual acts that as events have their roots in antiquity, always accompanied by music and dancing throughout the village.
