This is their offense and highest potential as they are now but Rob changes their chemical equation and then it gets lethal, like Predator on an NBA court. A+ from me for the entire organization, owners down. Seriously deep, experienced, focused, well-conditioned, high-character teammates, all different and effective and adding different things to the mix. Special team growing into their own is what team sports are all about.

I prefer this version of the Celtics to last year's. After a slow start, their defense has come around. Over the last 7 games, they've had the 7th best defense. I'd rather have a historic offense and a good defense than a historic defense but a sluggish offense.

My biggest worry is that reintroducing Robert Williams hurts them on offense more than it helps their defense. There's a reason so many guys on the roster are having career shooting seasons right now. And Tatum's explosion coincides with him getting to play the 4 full time, which I've been wanting to see for years. He has way more of an advantage against opposing 4's than 3's.

I'm sure Mazzula can figure out a way to use Williams without the offense bogging down. But if he can't, I hope he doesn't feel obligated to roll out the two-big lineup just because that's what worked last year.

Everyone worrying that Rob williams will mess up the spacing doesn't remember how good he is at moving without the ball and how much attention he draws on the roll. He also an excellent passer, Rob is an upgrade all the way around.
