I see the recommendation for an 80 N/mm shock spring, saying the 85 was too harsh for a rider at 120 kg. That's one or two grades lighter spring grade than we see suggested by K Tech and Rally Raid on their charts.

I wonder what the explanation for that difference is? I'm about to respring my T7 and I don't want to get the wrong spring rates.

I'm about 105 kg with gear, plus the bits on and tools weigh another maybe 10 or 15 kg. Was looking at an 85 or 90 N/mm spring according to the charts, but now I wonder is that too stiff. And what should the fork spring rate be.

Why put the aftermarket parts on, when in the first video he said the stock parts was good when he adjusted the valving? Only rich dumbasses bought unnecessary expensive stuff? 😁
