This is why I watch you. Local news said there's "nothing in the tropics" only something off the coast of Africa. I get not wanting to cause panic, but flat out saying there is nothing out there isn't the way to go. I shared your post of the spaghetti models with my husband, and we're going to slowly start getting things ready. Extra case of water to store away, extra canned food, batteries, ya know the norm. With Ian, I didn't prep at all, and I regret it. My husband had me comvinced it would go to the panhandle despite us being in the direct path until it made that seemingly last-minute turn. I'm not going to take chances. If it doesn't end up here, then at least I'll be a little more prepared for the next storm.

Again? Man we got rocked in Chicagoland with all those tornados...drove through 2 of the damage trails for work the next day....sheered poles, trees down all over the place. A highway was shut down a day or 2... was wild stuff.
