Had Octopus instal 5 panels and a givenergy battery in September. Really pleased with the results so far. While every year is different weather/temperature wise I know, last week of November I spent £13.58 less this year compared to last year, while the first week of December I spent £7.05 less on electric by charging my battery during the night and topping it up before peak rate. Also I've had no leaks which my neighbours were worried about and we've had storms Bert and Darragh recently. In October when there was much more sun and I didn't need the heating on, I was living almost for free only paying pennies most days. Looking forward to next summer to see how much I can export.

How big does it need to be?
My home situation is not suitable for solar panels. Is it worth me putting batteries into my house to utilise the periods of cheaper power in some of your tariffs?
