Straumann® BLX Benefit Overview Video from O’Brien Lab

In this video, Dr. Alex Rugh from O’Brien Lab introduces the new BLX implant system from Straumann®. This offering features a new connection called TorcFit.

TorcFit features a seven-degree internal cone with a star-shaped anti-rotational element. This star shape is the same design found in the head of Straumann screws.

Every implant in the BLX line is made of Straumann's Roxolid® Titanium-zirconium alloy.

The BLX implants are offered in a range of diameters and lengths. However, the prosthetic connection is the same throughout the entire line. This consistency simplifies the prosthetic options and allows you to use the same components for all of the implants in the line.
