In Australia we have the exynos variant of S24, so I'm going to stick with my S23 which has 8 gen 2

The changes from the S23 to the S24 are very subtle, but the sum of them makes it a good step forward. The hand-feel alone pushed me to upgrade, and not because the S23 was bad at all! Absolutely gorgeous phone.
However, I chuckle at the hype the 7-year software support has generated. It's a massive offering, that adds very little real value. In all honesty, how many users will the S24 still have in 2031 to even matter? From a different point of view... how many are still using the 2017 S8? Not nearly enough to make it relevant.

hey hey so its mid 2024, the s23 and s24 exynos is more or less the same price in my country since the s23 retained its value, any updates on whether or not the s24 exynos has been optimized to be better than the s23? or are we still rooting for the s23? my current daily driver s20 exynos display is cracked, i need to upgrade soon

If you wanted to suggest one for someone buying right today what would be your suggestion. My usage is typical day-day usage with some multi tasking. I am only skeptical on the Exynos 2400 else my decison would have been clear.
