This has caused many people to engage in Amazon hauls where they buy heaps of wasteful products being endorsed by influencers under Amazon’s influencer program using affiliate links. In this video, I discuss the massive overconsumption caused by this level of consumerism.

Rechargeable handwarmers are actually brilliant. As someone who lives in a cold climate and who also loses circulation really easily, gloves and mittens are simply not enough. Hand warmers are 100% a necessity for me during the colder months.

Rechargeable hand warmers keep me from using disposable ones that 1) don't work as well or last as long, and 2) are disposable and contribute to unnecessary waste. They've been a lifesaver for me at work and on the boat, where dexterity in my hands is critical.

The overacting these influencers do these days is so cringe. Travel influencers just focus on themselves, their clothes, makeup, hair, shoes etc etc, i wonder if they actually admire the places they visit or just spend time making videos and taking pictures. One can wear same outfits on repeat and enjoy life rather worrying about latest trends. Btw, this video is a MUST HAVE (WATCH).

I come from a family of hoarders. I struggle myself with feeling the need to throw out all of my stuff because I fear becoming like them. I have family members who would buy every little nick knack that was featured on QVC until there was no room left in their house. I see these videos and sometimes I even think to myself "hm that looks handy" but I always have to snap myself out of it and remind myself that I don't need ANY of that stuff. These videos are a hoarder's drug.

I'll justify a couple of these products:

1. The measuring device for round objects would be very handy for a litany of hobbyists and professionals in construction or various arts.

2. The handheld label printer would be very useful to a lot of companies, especially small businesses.

But the key thing is that these are useful for a very specific type of person who has to do a somewhat tedious task repeatedly. Most people will never need either.

I’m actively trying to avoid buying anything on Amazon, but their reach and the convenience of the platform make it difficult for many to avoid them.
