Gday mate. Good info. I’ve got 3 kings 120s in parallel running my whole house. 18 months no problem👍🇦🇺🎯🍻

I have run my 120ah Kings for nearly a year no problems and have just bought my second on to add to my system for the extra power for camping, work and band gigs when we cannot access power. Keep up the good work

A "cheap" Kings lithium will still be strides in-front of any "quality" Lead Acid/AGM in performance for those that are budget conscious. They have come along way since their early days as other budget range brands have also.

Usually it's those that are told they can use Lithium as a drop in replacement tend to run into problems.
Or they are not suitably fused where it's needed in their setup to protect the battery as much as what the battery is running.
Do your due diligence on all the gear you run and ensure your charging solutions will work regardless if someone said it would.

Also purchased a blue top Kings 120 lithium, also running a second generation Kings 1500 inverter, no issues to report ( powering a small pod coffee machine only) Great value for money, finally, Kings have upped their game with these higher end products. If I had an unlimited budget then I most likely I would have looked at Itech or similar…for an infrequent camper this brand is perfect.

Kings products do cop a lot of crap, but at a fraction of the price of name brands that aren’t as good as they have you believe, I think they are good value especially for someone starting out on a budget.
I have 3 x 200A Kings lithiums and they are all fine. I have seen a number of tests & teardowns of them & they are a good build with nice prismatic cells & a decent BMS. Kings have really upped their game with their batteries lately, the 300A lithiums you can run a 3000W inverter, perfect for any high powered camper setup. Ive seen Kings inverters & batteries take a lot of abuse and still keep going.

One of the biggest advantages of a Kings battery which most people don't consider is the fact that there are Kings outlets (including dealers) in many locations.
As many with lithium setups do travel, it is conforming to know that you can get your battery replaced under warranty at these outlets, compare that with a battery from a supplier that has limited locations and discover how difficult it is to get a lithium battery transported back to where you purchased it from to access your warranty.

I have a 200ah in my car and 2 x 300ah in our caravan.
We have been living in our caravan traveling Australia with plenty of solar on the roof, I highly recommend them.

Good luck with your channel. Some of the commenters need to take at least one chill pill; nasty people. Trolls are an unfortunate part of life experience.

Nice video! I've subbed, you'll soon be at 1K.

The BMS in the 120Ah Kings Blue Top I tested had a functioning overheat protection, though I couldn't get the cold protection working to stop me charging, even at -20c.

For the money, they are a pretty decent option.

Fair few videos of guys testing kings batteries one in particular where he actually tears it down and seriously impressed.

I live in a boat and it has the most expensive lithium batteries I know of, my car canopy has this kings lithium and I can say it’s been faultless, the kings lithium is actually fantastic, also I’ve never known of a lipo4 battery catching fire, I don’t actually think it’s possible, great review but .

Good video mate. I’ve just bought 2 Kings 120ah lithiums for my camper trailer. Bought the Victron Bluetooth shunt and had to upgrade the dcdc charger. It gets expensive but do it right the first time and you shouldn’t have any issues.

I’m testing it out this weekend 👍🏽

The Kings Lithium Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery is not flammable. When the battery is overcharged or subject to physical damage, the phosphate-oxide bond remains structurally stable. In other lithium chemistries (think Tesla Li-Ion) the bonds begin breaking down and release excessive heat, leading to thermal runaway and a fire that's very difficult to extinguish. BUT there's an enormous amount of energy stored in these batteries, and they must be adequately fused. Car fuses are not adequate. A Marine grade MRBF fuse should be mounted direct to the +ve terminal.

I was going to buy one last week. Asked if they have the compliance certificate for the new AU standard and was told that they do, but it was with their legal department and not available to customers. Try telling that to your insurance company. Buyer beware. Great value, ok batt but not worth the risk in a caravan setup.

Good on ya mate, what do dads know, there are a lot of Tear down Reviews on the Kings Lithium Battery and they all state the kings Batteries are all good builds. And they absolutely destroy the batteries.

Thanks for the video :) I got the 250w fold out Kings hard panel and it has worked great. I am considering some other Kings stuff now or pehaps maybe going with the 150ah Kickass battery box + an inverter. Currently have just plug and play power stations and I know now I can do what I want cheaper if I have the separate components. I have enough to do what I need to do now, but want back up in the instance something breaks or there's a long period of increment weather. This stuff does not have to be hard, but I find many people on the internet insist making it sound so hard. And yes punters will knock brands quality when it is - like you say, probably their setup and or how they're using it.
