I got a few Nautica fragances from 2016 (7 year old bottles) and they still smell great so that's a confirmation that if you store your fragances correctly they can last for forever

Never store in your bathroom is dependent upon so many factors. For example, where I live in southern AZ is extremely dry even during monsoon season, I have a very large bathroom that never exceeds 75 degrees and has no direct sunlight ever. Hot showers don’t even fog up the mirrors, …not at all. I display the particular seasons fragrances in the bathroom while the other seasons are stored in the closet and they’ve been just fine for decades.
