The stress of getting old will make you look old

Vitamin D deficiency is a real issue over there. So bad for bones and ageing. But those people are all about appearances. I lived in South Korea for a couple of years and have lived in nine countries. It has to be the most vain and judgemental place on earth.

sometimes i'm very glad im caribbean. our skin is made for the sun and we still look young even after years and years of having fun in the sun.

But why isn’t it covering the chin/mouth and sides of the face?

When did the sun became the bad guy? I understand protecting but this is full on hiding. I’m genuinely confused

You were wearing sun to protect your face but not your body. Is skin cancer only happen on the face?

And my dad calls me excessive for wanting to wear a full face sun shielding HAT when I'm outside?! Like I would do way more than a hot if it were normalized where we live 😭

Youre body can take a litt sun, you dont have to go to these lengths. Just put your protection

Most of these people do that to not be darker...that is why I find this so sad, we have to enjoy life and not be scared of what we look! Being happy is the key of my beauty standard

Please dont be sensitive or judge thay someone is doing self care. The UV rays cause skin cancer, wrinkles, skin spots, etc. Yes, vitamin D is good, but im pretty sure there are supplements for it, and its not like its the only vitamin abc out there. I understand it looks like shes promoting to be obsessed with appearance, but there's more.

nb knows ur story. if u go out with skin patches of any kind, different head dresses, different clothing etc theres no need to be insecure bc ur reason is ur own. nb else needs to know and if they judge thats on them.

Apparently a lot of skin cancer happens under the chin because people miss it when applying sunscreen/using other types of sun protection. So please also protect your chin (and ears) !!

That's why Koreans look 20 when they're 40. They know skin care❤

I’m black and have a severe sun allergy, which makes me a freak in the eyes of my people. 😅 I discovered these sun patches from a Korean YouTuber and they would save me a lot of pain & maybe make it so I don’t have to live like a vampire anymore. (I don’t go out before 5PM) However, I’m in Philly and I’m pretty sure wearing these would get me shot. 😂 People often assume I’m Muslim because of how covered I keep myself.

Don't you sweat with it when its on?

Thats silly to me. Unless you have a condition where you‘re forced to do that, you shouldnt obsess over skin aging like this…
