The journey of the Berylune grants viewers a look into more than a century of local maritime history. Explore that century of history, from construction on Washington Island to display at the Death’s Door Maritime Museum in Gills Rock, Wisconsin as we hear the tale of this pleasure craft from Door County Maritime Museum’s Collections Coordinator and Gills Rock Site Manager, Brennan Christianson. Presented January 5, 2023.
Christianson graduated with his Bachelors from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a Major in History and Minors in Humanities and German, and attended graduate school at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Masters in Public History and a certificate in Museum Studies. Brennan has been with the museum since the Spring of 2021 and presented at a Maritime Speaker Series talking about the legend of Death's Door.
