With how the storyline for Arknights continues going forward (and rarely having flashbacks), it's hard to imagine Enfield to be a prequel story. It's gonna be a sequel in the very distant future. Fingers crossed for whatever HG cooks next.

Ex-astris flew under the radar too much that people think it's a new announcement when they became active recently again. I'm kinda curious on how much of an improvement the current beta is to the early gameplay footage they showed off...

I wish i was more excited for Endfield but it will likely just be another gacha. Keeping up with gachas while also being a jrpg gamer is really difficult. I already put Genshin on hold for over a year to just focus on Arknights. If i ever do get back into Genshin, it'll just be for story. Managing multiple gacha games is tough because you gotta do daily and weekly missions all the time. It adds up. I wish these gacha companies would use the crazy money they make to make regular video games. That's why popucom interests me. A shame hoyoverse thinks it's a good idea to run 4 gacha games at the same time

The abbysal Hunter storyline is the most hype storyline that i've ever played. Hopefully we can know the future of Aegr in ENDFIELD, if it will get release.

iirc, from what i remember reading about endfield on the site, it seems like it'll be about a company trying to both get a foothold on a planet, so not within known terra, and discovering ancient ruins from a bygone civilization
could be pretty interesting to see, ngl

Im most excited about Ex Astris as the gameplay is very reminiscent of a 3D super robot taisen og saga endless frontier, a game I wish I could've played more. Im praying that they do something about how empty the open world looks, accentuated by how the color white makes it feel even more empty and hollow.
