Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua OBE (born 15 October 1989) is a British professional boxer. He is a two-time former unified world heavyweight champion, having held the World Boxing Association (WBA) (Super version), International Boxing Federation (IBF), and World Boxing Organization (WBO) titles twice between 2016 and 2021. He also held the International Boxing Organization (IBO) title twice during that reign. At regional level, he held the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles from 2015 to 2016.
Francis Zavier Ngannou - (born 5 September 1986) is a Cameroonian and French[14] professional mixed martial artist and professional boxer who is currently signed to the Professional Fighters League (PFL). He also competed in the Heavyweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he was the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion at the time of his departure from the promotion. Known for his punching power, Ngannou was widely viewed as the most destructive pure puncher in the UFC's heavyweight division. In 2017, he set the world record for the hardest punch ever recorded at 129,161 units.[clarification needed

I wrote after the Fury vs Ngannou fight that it was a brazen, vulgar, rude set-up. Fortunately, AJ fought seriously and we had a picture of what a fight between a professional and an amateur looks like. The very organization of the fight between the WBC champion and the amateur was ridiculous, compromising, shameful - it is a complete pathology of the federation which sanctioned the fight between an amateur and the champion, thus spitting in the face of all honest boxers fighting for a place in the ranking, waiting for their chance for years. After all, already in the fight with Fury it was obvious that the MMA champion had no boxing skills, he was not a boxer, he had no basic skills to practice boxing at a high level. Everyone who knows boxing saw perfectly well how Fury avoids throwing strong punches, how he deliberately tows his opponent and how he probably set himself up to make the knockdown give the payers emotions. You can't skip the learning process, you can be talented but you still have to go through a long, arduous, time-consuming, hard-working time of learning to gather skills. Boxers train for years to reach the top, and MMA is different than boxing, just like volleyball, it's not basketball and you can't take a volleyball player. for half a year to become a great basketball player. Once again, we have seen the phenomenon of making idiots out of ordinary fans. It is a pity that the mainstream media are involved in this and cannot maintain objectivity, but instead succumb to this propaganda and repeat this false narrative themselves, creating an unreal image of what is really happening. A lot of people around the world believed that an MMA champion could become a boxing champion, that they could just learn boxing in half a year and talent would be enough.
