About six minutes in, just washed my hands and I can't do a thing with them. :-) Thanks very much for these lessons. Thumbs up to crush a troll, and subscribed.

Thanks a bunch Dave, your videos have really helped me take my guitar playing to the next level. You're awesome, thank you for taking the time to make these videos, especially on this great song.

I can't stop playing it, my pinky finger needs the work.
So.... when listen to that song played full speed, during the main riff it sounds like the little bendy from D to Eb is on the upbeat right before the A on the downbeat. But when you showed it slowed down i feel like you did the D^Eb and A at the same time on the downbeat. Is it because it feels more natural for the tempo or what? Just curious. Great video!

Great lessons Dave. Could I also ask for the tab for this. I am having to slow the video right down to try and catch the string picks. Any help would be appreciated. Paul

Dear Dave
First of all many thanks for sharing such a great video of such a brilliant song.
However, so far I could manage part A & B but I'm struggling heavily on part C starting at 2:53 in your part 3 video.  You are saying somewhere, that you borrowed this section C from Doc Watson, which is actually the version I prefer as well, but couldn't find anywhere tabs corresponding with your picking.
Could you please guide me to corresponding tabs, as it would help me very much to nail this song down.
Seeing tabs and the way you are grip the chords would bring me forward pretty much.
The correct groove and rhythm is another issue but I guess practise and practise will help for sure.
thanks

Hi Dave
Really enjoying your lesson. I read in a previous comment that you have a tab for this. Would it be possible for you to forward this to me as well.
Thanks

Can’t quite get my thumb over to get the G bass note. I play the Open G chord and use the 3rd string to get my A and G melody notes.
