You're least biased of any rugby channel that I've seen on YouTube. Fact is Scotland have become a really good team that play with more freedom than many southern hemisphere sides. Just lacking a bit of depth in replacements . I'm a kiwi with a bias to running rugby the sort of game Australia and New Zealand can play when given some room. I really appreciated the way Scotland played that game.

Sorry Tim - off topic here - I just switched off the England vs Japan game. Those English commentators are just terrible to listen to. Carried on for about 5 mins about the social media being such a terrible influence on the game and that watchers (spectators) should rather listen to main stream and hear the real facts. If you want to listen to absolute bias from the word go - listen to that crap. I wanted to switch off sound but watching without sound not worth it. You are not bias and should maybe be employed as the commentator there. 😂😂

So impressed with Sotland. What a team. Aus got brought back to earth today, but that's okay. Test rugby is exactly that - it is a test of every aspect of a teams ability. Aus did look lethargic perhaps they did have a bit of a cold moving through the group? I did expect more of a fight from them. Tim you are the epitome of being unbiased and a gave a good assessment as usual.

Scotland were so good at stretching the Aus defence and isolating the forwards.

Was a great game but Scotland end up coughing up too many chances in the 22. Looked very well drilled and moved the ball well a lot.

Fagerson is the solidified furst choice, hes played bettee thsn Furlong this year I'd agree.

My takeaways were (watching the game from the stands) that;

1.) there was no need to review the Aussie try for so long. I was at the opposite end and everyone around me was saying “why are the still checking it? It’s clearly a try”
2.) Darcy Graham surely lubes up his entire body before a match, as there’s no other way he could have got through defences the way he does.
3.) Jamie Ritchie was an absolute machine today; turnovers, chopping folk, lineout steals, carrying, and leadership.

Would agree with your analysis of the game Tim. Scotland, were far from flawless, but on the day they were far too good for a strangely out of sorts Australian side. Still, the name of the game is to win first an foremost and as someone who has seen Scotland struggle to put teams away for many years you have no idea how good it is to see Scotland being able to put teams like Australia away fairly comfortably. Overall we’ve done alright out of the Autumn International Series, apart from maybe being unable to take our chance against South Africa when we had both opportunities and momentum, but c’est la vie. I think if we stop leaving points out on the pitch and minimise the basic errors we can have a decent six nations.

That was the game of the weekend. I loved the big hits and near misses. I was routing for Scotland, nothing like a home win for the team.

I think everyone still underestimates Scotland. They were clear number 4 in world before last World Cup. This is the same team with bit more depth. Wales and England are on most days well below Scotlands level so 14 point spread after a 6.5 out of 10 performance isn't shocking. Aus will and I hope continue to improve under Schmidt

Sione is a brilliant player and is now a fulcrum for Scotland's back line. He has the out-and-out oomph for the crash ball, has the soft hands and subetely needed to bamboozle defenders, is a rock in defence, and also comes across as a great guy.

Been a season ticket holder for 10 years now at Murrayfield and absolutely love singing flower of Scotland and hearing it around the ground. Especially the second verse where the music stops and it’s just the whole Scottish crowd belting it out, I get so annoyed when we play away and they pipe in the music (no pun intended) and put music over the second verse it ruins it.
