How to use a suction cup grab bar

I have a fiberglass shower enclosure with a very smooth finish and I found this grab bar works very well. I like to use a shower chair so getting up required something like this bar to assist. I try not to put my full weight on it as mentioned in the video. It's been in use for about 2 months and has not come loose. I've yet to reset the suction but I think that's probably a good idea. Note: whatever surface you use make sure it is very clean. If you cannot align the suction cups so that they do not cross a grout line you consider installing it at an angle so that both suction cups align fully on a tile.

Sometimes they slip. You have to test them ever now and then.

I have this shower surface, and the suctions won’t hold because of the grooves. How did you get this to stay?

I actually stuck mine with super glue I was fed up with it falling and its permanently on now

Comprei uns 10, não estão ficando preso na parede, propaganda enganosa, se soubesse não tinha comprado, porque moro numa casa que não sei por onde passa encanamento, se não colocaria aquele de furar bem melhor. Do not buy this piece of crap it does not hold up somebody is going to get hurt I bought mine from Walgreens it does not hold up as soon as you grab it it comes off somebody is going to sue them do not buy it

Such a bad idea. Suction cup grab bars fail... You will not know when it will fail but it will. We all have had suction cups on some items and after a few years, they fail why do you think this item will be any different?
