I download Google camera apk for my S8 and with night mode on the picture quality improve alot. I think hardware updates are negligible. It mainly from sofware and AI. That is the reason why manufracturers stop providing software update after 3-4 years to make users feel their phone is outdated and needs to be replaced. Smartphone hardware has almost reached its limit. We just need an optimized software to exploit the full potential of the hardware. 😊

With the exception of night video (where the S23 did better), the S8 did much better than the S23 for day time pics and vids. I was thinking about getting a Samsung phone because Im getting tired of iPhones...someone said to do a comparison with older Galaxy phones and newer ones, because older ones have more features...so this video convinced me. Im getting the S8 refurbished. Great video BTW.

Just the color change and more sharper on s23 in day light but s23 in night situatuin is absolutely the winner as we know before.

The S8 camera is WORSE in everything except daytime photos and video to some extent.
And night photos and videos, the work of the stabilizer are much better with the 23.
