Looks like fun but when will Kawasaki update the aging 650 KLR engine? And not just adding fuel injection. I mean a real update.

I have a Versys 650 and it surprisingly has been one of the most fun bikes I've ever owned. The weakest part is the engine (for me at least)

The KLR is something that I'd be interested in but to step down in horsepower again....can't do it.
Kawasaki needs to update the Versys engine and at the same time offer a KLR with more grunt.
Suzuki updated their 650 V twin to an impressive inline 270 deg 800cc inline twin.
Kawasaki should be next...but go 850cc.
See what Yamaha did with the T7 & MT-07.
Kawasaki needs to step up their game.
