I'm a professional massage therapist who performs chair massage. I will generally massage glute muscles for this very reason. People are sometimes at first a little surprised but quickly realize the benefits of having glutes massaged. Relief of lower back pain and tension, alleviation of dead butt, and relief of hamstring tightness.

In the west, when you have back pain doctors give you muscle relaxers and anti inflammatories. In my experience they make thins worse.
The glutes are the keys to back pain but don’t forget the adductors and the psoas as well.

Squats like 3:31 but actively scooting your butt backwards instead of going all the way down will release those stiffened muscles. You will feel it. Clasping the hands while doing the squat will give better balance and support.
