Air conditioner not working on your Chevy Equinox? A/C compressor not engaging? First and easiest thing to check are ac fuse and a/c relay ( 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | LS | LT | LTZ ).

Both the air conditioning fuse and relay are located in the main fuse box under the front hood:

FUSE #31: Power to A/C Compressor (10A)
RELAY #62: A/C Compressor Relay

If both the fuse and relay are good, than you will have to look at the ac compressor itself, make sure the a/c is charged up and there is no leakages in a/c lines.

Thanks for watching.

You are the man!
Why does the 2011 Chevy Equinox SUV not have micro relay #60 which is pictured on the fuse box diagram.

How do you check a relay to see if it is good?

Trying to find the fuse on the inside box.on another video you said check 12 but i can’t seem to find #12 upon checking quickly before I went out, I’m going to have to take a better look today in case I’m blind.

In the winter I replaced the actuator for the heat because that hadn’t been working and it worked great. Would the fuse have something to do with that?

I heard there’s a separate actuator for a.c on the drivers side if I remember correctly but I never heard the same knocking noise I did with the heat so I’m not even sure that would be the issue.
