Many people are shifting to home workouts and don't have all the weights and equipment they'd like to have. In this video you'll learn how you can use dumbbells that might seem too light to do some really effective swing variations.

These exercises will allow you to use small dumbbells to train your glutes and hamstrings more effectively than you could with slower traditional weight training movements like a deadlift or romanian deadlift.

The key thing here is how to do the skier swing. The skier swing is when you hold the weights to the outside of the legs instead of swinging the dumbbells between your legs. This will also require you to take a little bit narrower stance for the skier swing exercise variations.

Once you've got the hang of doing regular skier swings you can shift to other variations of the exercise like one arm skier swings, split stance swings, step back swings or even side step swings.

Once you learn how to do these exercises you'll have some great moves to keep your home workouts interesting and effective, even if you only have small dumbbells.
