How to Make Your Own Garden Potting Table

Are you looking for a potting table for your garden? I was looking for one because I know how helpful they are to have. It's great to have a place to just make a mess and play in some dirt. It's also a great space for spring and late-season veggies. It's also helpful when planting up your spring seedlings and cuttings.

So, when I was looking for one for my garden I found a stunner from Julia Berolzheimer who recently partnered with Pottery Barn. I was eager to click on the link and buy it for my garden. Until I saw that it was $1200....ouch.

Although I looked and looked and saw several for $500, $600, $700+, I knew I had to get the tools out and build my own. When I thought about how to build this I wanted to make something simple, similar, and affordable. That way even someone with limited knowledge on how to use tools could possibly build something like Julia Berolzheimer design. This is what I came up with....

I have included:
- A cutting list
- Materials list
- Cost of the project
- How to build the potting table step by step

The potting table is 50 inches wide and 6ft tall. I included a full cutting list and material list in the video. I also break down how much this build costs.

I learned a good lesson on this video. 1) stop saying basically 🙄🙈 2) Watch back your taped footage before going out on day two and saying basically 25 more times 😆….oh well, hope you enjoy the video ❤️

Beautiful, what color did you use to paint the potting bench? Wonderful tutorial!

Hell yeah, man. Love the use of fence pickets, they are my favorite! I used them to build my raised beds but never thought to use them for a potting bench! Going to use your re-design for mine and add some locking casters so I can easily move it to clean behind (since I'm a bit of a sloppy gardener). That said, I do think I'm going to try to add the drawers in the original because I really like the idea of storing things like gardening gloves in a drawer so they don't get all wet and nasty. Thanks!

Man you did a great job...I think I'll build one soon...I think if we sand or router down the edges all around it will look much softer and cozy for the ladies
