Therefore, trade Jimmy and Kittle today to acquire X Howard or K Fuller or G Williams and M Thomas and some future picks. They also want to see Lance under center. Sign C Newton as a backup. Bench J Norman, Mosley, Tartt and Ward for the remainder of the season. Play X Howard or K Fuller or G Williams (from trade), Lenoir, Hufanga and T Wilson.

How about what I DON'T want to see?
I don't want to see them lining up in the freaking shotgun on 1st and 10. EVER.
They might be able to beat the Chicago freakin' Bears doing BS like that, but they won't beat any good team.
They run and pass more effectively for under center, and it isn't even close.

The four games against the Lions, Pack, Seahawks, and Colts, here are the passing splits:

Under center: 27 of 39 (69% comp. rate) for 579 yards and 8 TDs.
Shotgun: 54 of 95 (56% comp. rate) for 516 yards and 4 INT.

Under center: 21.4 yards per completion.
Shotgun: 9.5 yards per completion.

They averaged 27 points in those games. The games were they ran almost exclusively shotgun (Eagles and Cards games) they averaged only 13.5 points.

Here's another crazy stat: their rushing splits for the first six games:

Under center: 82 rushes, 475 yards, 7 TDs, 5.79 YPC
Shotgun: 73 rushed, 318 yards, 4.35 YPC
