this is pretty sad from nvidia. Intel needs to spend more on their gpu software, amd is smaller than green and blue so they cant yet they are doing amazingly with their budget/mid tier cards and nvidia is just the Onceler if he did what he did because of greed, not peer pressure

Amd has offered a better price to performance especially in the mid range for a long time. Cards like the hd7870, rx480/580, vega 56 or 5700xt have usually been significantly cheaper and in cases even faster than the nvidia competition. Rdna2 had the better cards for in cases half the money throughout the bank. Yet were here with 90% nvidia market share. I dont think a few driver issues in 2017 and better Ray tracing can explain all this.

Apparently they also monopoly render softwares that would only work using their gpus, i really wanted an amd gpu so bad for a full amd build but most of my software would performed poorly and some of them doesn't even work using an amd gpu 😭😭😭

Nvidia sells the boards to various companies like asus, zotac, gigabyte, to name a few. They sell the pcbs with the components mounted, these companies then modify the cooling systems and then sell the complete graphics cards. What this video is saying will only apply to the founders' edition of the card, they wont win more money for card sold, that would be the companies that sell the graphics cards.

If anyone is actually doing this it would be the companies and not nvidia, if you feel like you need to hate on a companie hate on intel that held back on better performance of cpus cause there was no competition and performance for 3 generation straight were basically the same until amd started to catch up, or even better you can blame on the prices of high end ICs on the company TSMC that are responsible for 90% of the manufacturing of high end ICs and the company ASML who has a monopoly on lithography plasma printed wafers machines given that they are the only once that produce this machines

The two companies named above, specially TSMC, are the reason the car industry was crashing during the pandemic because the companies withdraw their oders of billions of chips and when they decided to come back, TSMC pretty much told them "to the back of the line" and since theres no other company that has the production capabilities that TSMC has they crashed, thats why there are still to this day wait list for cars in cars dealerships.

We need companies with Fab's we need more independent companies, we dont need random dudes rambling about facts that have no foundation

they don’t offer good value but dlss is far more superior then fsr if you only want to price to performance then go amd if you want nvidias special features like nvence, dlss and frame generation then go nvidia

The 4000 series will probably follow the same trend as all of the previous cards. Expensive until they release a new generation of cards, then it will be worth the money. I got my rtx 3070 for less than 300 and I couldn't be happier. It's a really broad generalization on your part.
