I agree. She needs to be wearing a helmet for sure and a pair of gloves. I’m surprised you don’t have her wearing a helmet…. ESPECIALLY since she’s learning. She’s doing great though.

She did really well and you very much remind me of my husband with your advise. I was learning to shift with my first experience also which added a huge amount of anxiety for me. If I had the Navi to begin with I'm sure I would have done so much better....shifting a motorcycle is so intimidating for me, I can do it but I hate it.

Awesome video. My husband bought me a Navi and is teaching me too. Yes it’s the turns I’m still practicing as well. I love the bike! I started learning on the Grom, but personally enjoy this more. We plan on taking his Grom and the Navi when we go camping.

My husband threw me on a Honda Rebel 300 as my first bike, I rode it a few times but it scared the crap out of me. I'm getting a Navi hopefully this week, I know I'll love it!! Riding was never the issue shifting was.

People bash and say get a real bike. I look just scooting around to local spots and relaxing so I don't care what they think. It is simple and easy to ride and does what I need it to do. Also I love how cheap the insurance is.

Figure eight's, cones, circles, U turns. She is being honest and giving you the answer she thinks you want to hear.. If you love her you will sign her up for a real 2 day course A Honda or Harly Davidson course. Your heart is in the right place. She needs cones and circles. Let a team of pros supplement what you are doing.. The course is cheap compared to her being being injured, having a bad experience or worse. Plus it lowers the insurance rate. I hope this is interpreted with the good intentions. I salute your generosity and passion.

Yea man got a navi for my wife and just picked up a sweet low miles 2015 grom. Teaching her the same way. We set up cones in school parking lot on weekend with bus loop. It’s like a motorcycle track. She’s almost ready to take it to work

No offense, but how tall and how heavy is your wife? and you also? I'm thinking of getting one for commuting. I'm about 5'11 190lbs. And have you guys tried riding both at the same time on one?
