Bro, you’re the best I search for these type of videos all the time but I couldn’t find anything. Thank you so much.

You said the sim card used in the BR1 for the VZW service came out of the VZW Home Internet Gateway. I'd like to see how you managed that bit of skullduggery... Maybe that's why you didn't show it, but I'm curious to know how you made it work. How does VZW register devices on their network such that you can mimic the VZW gateway and obtain service with a 3rd party device? Is it only the SIM card? Do you see any difference in speed using the VZW home internet gateway versus the BR1? I expect the speeds are limited on VZW's end. I recently signed up for the VZW service and learned a lot in doing so. Other YT vids confused me as they showed two different modems received with either the "Home" or "Home Plus" internet plans and speeds up to 350 for Home and 350-1GB for home plus. The thing the guy doing the vid forgot to mention is that 5G Ultra Wide is not offered in all the same cities as 5G C-band (mid band). Only those folks in cities with UW coverage can get access to the 350-1GB speeds. You can still sign up for the Home Plus plan in a C-band area like mine, but they send you the standard gateway and the extras you get are cloud based back-up and some kind of gift card, but no 350-1GB speeds. Where I am the speeds are consistently 300 - 350 and it's been reliable. I was skeptical that they could maintain this type of speed, but I suppose it all depends on your area. A few years from now when the service is more mature & loaded it may be a different story. For now, it is a nice option to have.

Out of my price range for sure. Can't wait for the next video with another option.

That’s the 5G gateway I use with T-Mobile Biz and it’s been a solid performer

So Nate, I currently have 2 - TMHI personal accounts, one trash can and one Sagecom w/ a 2X2 log periodic waveformantenna on each. Always having to reboot these things. How easy is it to get business accounts rather than personal?

Hello Nate thanks for the video. I have the T-mobile home with external Waveform antena (4x4) and I get 650MB/30MB on Wifi. But when I connect to the Ethernet cabe (with disable DHCP on LAN) the speed drops to 80MB/25MB. I have watched your video explaining what to do to improve the speed, but unfortunately no success. My question is, if we use the T-Mobile business with the Peplink, will I be able to connect with Ethernet to my ASUS mesh system and keep the same speeds? I appreciate your input. I also live in a rural area and your videos were so good to help me improve our Internet service. Thanks

Are you planning on using your out side waveform attachments? To see what speeds you get/ if you can get better Ping and latency? I was hoping to see that as I us T-Mobile home internet and want to try and get better speeds as well as ping.

Hi Nate, I love your videos. I decided to go with the Peplink Pepwave Max BR1 Pro 5G for a road trip that I am planning. Do you know how carriers treat 5G routers? Are they subject to the Cellular data limits, or are they treated as hotspot usage?

This was great - very thorough and it looks like my vzw5ghome sim works fine. Now hoping to test on road to see if it's geolocked

Good thing you have that Verizon active during your T-Mobile demonstration, if not there be some concerned kids in your office, giving you the what for!!

Nate, do you know if the t-mo business byod router plan throttles video streaming? Their business iPad plan does.

Hey nate, I just got this router along with the tmobile business internet plan. My router is struggling to get 20 down, while the KVD21 gets about 200 down. I have the attennas properly connected, health check disabled, even tried different APNs. Band 41 doesnt work at all, and 25 and 71 are getting under 20 down. Any ideas what else I can try?

Hello Nat - I have the new Verison Business Internet Gateway with an eSIM. Can I use IP pass-thru to connect the Verizon eSIM to my Peplink BR1 Pro 5G and use my Peplink as my primary wifi router on my LAN?
Thank you,
Terry McIntyre

Are you able to swap the straight talk home internet sims into these? Or is the straight talk sim locked to the imei like tmhi even though it’s using Verizon’s network?

Nate -- hoping you can help. I installed this router in my RV and then contacted VZ to add the device to my account and get a SIM card from them. First tried to do it on their website by adding a BYOD device, but when it got to the screen to choose a plan, nothing came up. Went to a VZ store and they had the same issue. After 2 hours on the phone with customer service, the store personnel gave up. Their system recognizes the devices as compatible with their network, but can't seem to generate a plan for it. You didn't seem to have any problems connecting to VZ. Any ideas what I need to do or what I need to say to VZ for them to be able to connect the device to their network?

Did Verizon give you any pushback when you had the Home Internet IMSI /ICCIS (SIM) reprovisioned to the Pepwave IMEI?

Nat - I just purchased a new TMobile Business Internet Gateway with a physical simcard. I put the Business simcard into my new Peplink BR1 Pro 5G Router but I cannot get it to connect. The peplink recognizes the simcard slot A but it only says connecting but never connects. Please help!
