Fun Fact: In the novelization for Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah 1991, the Dorats were genetically altered from the corpse of another King Ghidorah, thus keeping the alien origins in tact!!

HES BACK (little Dante reference there) but king ghidorah is back and this is the first godzilla movie to be about time travel, and ghidorah isn’t an space dragon this time. And this is the first time we see mecha king ghidorah, and he looks so cool especially with the replaced mechanical head and he is very powerful and I love how godzilla just picks ghidorah up and down that just shows how strong godzilla is. And the dorats look pretty cute :)
Edit: And I guess you can say this was the first time king ghidorah was the good guy even before GMK because they used him to stop godzilla
