Is there a major difference between medium heavy and medium fast?

I love a medium action gx2 I know it's crazy but I use jigs Texas rigs and frogs on it it's truly a monster with a frog I still catch 75% of my blow ups and I only caught 5 bass and a muskie so I'm no pro on hook set with a frog but with more experience u can do better

just got my first baitcaster rod and reel.... opted for a 6, 6 med/heavy fast because a fish of a Colorado XT inflateable pontoon and having problems with long rods while in a sitting position. Got my Kastking Assassin a couple of days ago...can't wait till winter is over to try it out...love your from Quebec Canada

So now 2 years later that you are killing it with the Lews combos would you still recommend this as a good all around rod? Stuck between this or the Lews Mach 2 combo. What do you think?

Bought a medium heavy fast action rod today, I don't have a boat I shore fish the ponds and I don't want to carry a bunch of rods, 2 is my max, took your word on this so I'm going to try a bunch of baits to see how I like it just as soon as the weather gets better in Baltimore.

I just bought 2 of these. A 7'4" heavy fast and a 7'1" medium fast. One has an origin a and the other has an origin FB. Sick looking combos.

I have 2 of these and noticed the eyes dont align with reel have you found this normal with yours? There slightly left of reel when looking down it
