Growing up the wooden spoon and the slipper was my moms main weapons of choice back in the 90s.. I remember this one time my mom had the spoon in her hand and she went to get my brother with it. But he grabbed it mid swing and yanked it out of her hand and then laughed like the joker in her face. It was a brief moment of defeat but she quickly reached down, grabbed her slipper and then got him good. It was definitely memorable and we always look back and laugh at that moment. For the record our parents were fantastic when we were growing up.. they still are. ❤
