As Sherwin-Williams continues progress on both a new global headquarters and a research and development facility in Northeast Ohio, the company is seeking to turn a portion of the land at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport into a corporate hangar.

During Monday's Cleveland City Council meeting, legislation was introduced that would allow Sherwin-Williams to lease 5.8 acres of city-owned land within the West Campus-Corporate Aviation portion of the airport for its corporate hangar. Sherwin-Williams would design, construct, and operate the hangar for at least 30 years.
