UI Goku is just a product of a time when Dimps was actually concerned with balancing. They didn't want him to be too overpowered, so they gave him the worst possible weaknesses. Nowadays they just make characters as unapologetically overpowered as they can without a care in the world. Which I honestly respect more for a game like this.

I didn't look at V-Jump scans back then so imagine my confusion when I booted up the game, got an update, downloaded the DLC, and this dude was just THERE. The description for the DLC didn't even list him as a character. It said Android 17, Jiren, Fu, and a special new character.

Mui Goku during his initial release also had a 5 Square+ Triangle combo but they took it away after the update after his dlc.
(Referring to the combo where he put you in a heavy down and you had the option to press square or triangle which triangle allowed you to teleport hit the knock down enemy.)

man, i don't really wanna have to deal with custom mui, but boy would i love to see a custom ui sign
also, spirit pulse? they should've made it have the flips from fighterz if you hold down the button, maybe being able to go into just cancel or even the kamehameha flip or counter. ui sign already has a lot of cool tech, so seeing a custom ui sign with assault vanish maybe would be fun.

Godly display is a really cool ability that would have been awesome to see Goku use in canon especially since I have seen fan made mugen anime games include that, however it still is an ultimate example of a rushed job because goku does not do godly display anywhere else in the lore or any DBZ game except xenoverse 2, I do think at this point they might as well release a partner key for both UI Gokus because now that our cacs have Ultra Instinct I don't really think there's anything left to lose anymore because this game is obviously still not balanced
