No matter how good or bad a movie is, Oscar Issac will continue being the exceptional actor that he is

I love that Poe's biggest worry isn't the ship but BB8

i hated that the trio didnt actully get together until the last film, but i do love that Poe's and Rey's relationship is exactly as I pictured it, two hot-headed pilots and best boi Finn at their side.

Can't believe it took 3 films to see Rey and Poe interacting with each other

This should have been where the trilogy started. Instead, we got the dynamic at the tail-end, where we're not able to fully appreciate it. You can't be a one-man/one-woman show in the context of a world that is so ingrained in the relationships between characters and the greater galaxy at large.

And this is the type of dialogue and writing we needed althroughout.

Taken out of context and completely forgetting the rest of the trilogy, this scene is brilliant.

You can tell that they all know each other really well and the dynamics between them.

Rey is a hot head who gets too focused on bettering herself that she forgets her duties elsewhere.

Poe is a hot head who cares too much about getting everyone out alive that he bites off more than he can chew.

Finn is the one who mediates and cares about everyone a little too much.

This scene is great on its own but it's not enough to elevate the movie.

Her delivery of “you’re a difficult man” always makes me smile. It’s just cute.

The two of them bickering like siblings and Finn stood there being the sensible sibling trying to stop the argument

I honestly dislike how they've tried to frame Poe as irresponsible and rude in 8 and 9, when he's the exact opposite. He's a smart military pilot who's comfortable with making tough calls and isn't afraid to speak up when a higher up makes a bad call or when a dumb decision is made. In TLJ, it's framed that Poe staging a mutiny against Holdo was bad, but in the end he was still right: the escape to Crait plan came THIS close to failing, and it almost did if it weren't for there miraculously being a small opening blocked only by some loose boulders, which ultimately was entirely luck. Resistance would've been all but destroyed had it not been for the coincidence of that being there. As for TROS, again he's right, Rey should be out there, helping the Resistance to secure resources, saving lives of innocents from First Order Tyranny, and saving Resistance Military personnel as she's more capable than any non-force sensitive by default, but they frame him as being a dick when he's saying it.

I honestly want another movie with these characters just to have this trio interact more

This is what should've been throughout the trilogy... this shows so much more character than in TLJ.

this scene in isolation was... actually really good?
- Poe and Rey clearly both trust and think well of each other but still challenge each other and bicker, like siblings
- Poe is very concerned with BB8's safety but seems to understand that Rey did nothing to hurt him intentionally. He's not really that annoyed about that - his frustrations truly lie with Rey's passivity in the ongoing conflict.
- Rey is clearly wants to understand all that went on, despite that she had to stay and train, and this frustration is bubbling to the surface as bickering anger regarding the Falcon.
- Finn clearly empathises with both sides and is trying to act as peacemaker, which is an excellent character trait as someone who chose to defect from a warmongering empire. He seeks conflict resolution even among his friends
- The marching away from the Falcon, the jump shots between Finn and Rey, the rotating camera - it all conveys a sense of stress and urgency that all three characters are clearly feeling.

Great scene. Shame.

Rey: You Lightspeed Skipped the Falcon?

Poe: You dropped a tree on BB-8?

Finn: ...

First, can you say that they either bicker like an old married couple OR they bicker like siblings.

Also, poor Finn. He's stuck in the middle, trying to play mediator.
