Algebra Essentials, Lesson 4, Intro to the GED® Formula Sheet

A strong foundation in the symbolic "language" of algebra along with the concepts of simplifying and solving are very important to the GED® Math Test and for college. Algebra Essentials provides that foundation for struggling students by focusing deeply on algebraic reasoning.

In this fourth lesson, Intro to the GED® Formula Sheet, we'll apply the skill of substitution in the context utilizing formulas and master dozens important GED® Math skills in the process: geometry, unit rates, multi-step percent problems, and slope can all be tackled with just the formula sheet, the skill of substitution, the TI30XS Multiview calculator, and a little bit of background knowledge.

Hey Kate,
Did you want inches or centimeters for the final answer in problem 8?
You give the diameter in centimeters, but the rounding directions say, ' to the nearest inch'. The volume in cubic inches is approximately 219.
